Fins & Skins Golf Getaway at The Ranch Park Lodge

Working with industry partners, I have scheduled an incredible June 12-14, “Fins & Skins” golf getaway for 4 members of our group.

This Fraser Valley golf vacation package is only $381.43 and includes all taxes and license fees. Your getaway includes three rounds of premium golf, sturgeon fishing, a special meal prepared by a gourmet chef, and two nights accommodation at the luxurious Ranch Park Lodge in Chilliwack.

The Ranch Park Lodge, is one of the finest vacation rental properties in Chilliwack. It is a spacious and luxurious hand-crafted log home, surrounded by a forest of towering cedar trees. In each great room there is a massive natural rock fireplace. The upper great room has a twenty-six foot vaulted ceiling and a wall of windows. The lower great room/games room has a 56" Satellite TV and oak card table complete with cards, poker chips, chess set, backgammon, kids games and more. After a relaxing evening at the Ranch Park Lodge, be ready to rise with the sun to experience world class sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River by one of the premiere Guided Fishing Tour companies in British Columbia, the BC Sport Fishing Group.

British Columbia's sturgeon is a wild, strong, feisty, prehistoric fish that will compare to any other game fish in the world. With aerial leaps and quarter mile runs you will soon learn that the BC White Sturgeon is a fish to be reckoned with. White sturgeons are present in the mighty Fraser River and its tributaries 12 months of the year. They are willing biters and great fighters any time. The Fraser River has a very strong population of sturgeon ranging from 2 to 12 ft in length and can reach weights of over a thousand pounds.

Later Saturday afternoon get ready for another 9 holes at Bridal Falls Golf Club. Located at the base of Cheam Mountain and within earshot of Bridal Falls, this is one of the most beautiful and challenging executive golf courses in the Fraser Valley. The course has been cut from natural rain forest with two large lakes and many large river/silica sand bunkers strategically placed to penalize errant shots.

Cap off the day with a gourmet dinner, featuring a salivating personally prepared meal by Chef Tony and a bucket of 12 ice cold Coronas for your drinking pleasure.

Rise and shine early Sunday morning for your final round at Chilliwack Golf & Country Club. It features magnificent tree lined fairways, a creek that meanders through the back nine and breathtaking mountain vistas in every direction. Members and non members have enjoyed the Fraser Valley’s most popular golf course for over 50 years.

Friday: 11:00 am check in at Ranch Park Lodge
Friday: 12:08 pm 18 holes with Power Cart at The Falls Resort
Saturday: 7:00 am 6 hours on the Fraser River (lunch included)
Saturday: 3:00 pm Afternoon Round at Bridal Falls
Saturday 6:00 pm: Gourmet Dinner by Chef Tony with Nacho Plate appetizer and 12 Coronas on ice
Sunday: 9:00 am Tee Time at Chilliwack Golf & Country Club

RSVP Limit:
I have set the RSVP limit to 8 even though we can only fit 4 people. After 4 members have paid up, I will change the status of any remaining RSVP's to NO.

The Meetup webpage will display 5 attendees; however I will not be attending even though I have RSVP’d “Yes” for this event. Understandably, the meetup website does not have an option for the organizer of the meetups to RSVP "NO".

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• Reservations cancelled before May 20, 2009 will not be penalized, full refund
• Reservations cancelled 14 days prior to vacation date will forfeit one night’s room rental plus tax and 50% of the green fees
• Reservations cancelled less than 7 days prior to our arrival date will forfeit full payment.
• No-Shows will be considered as a cancellation and will forfeit full payment.
