MOONLIGHT HIKE AT WILD BASIN PRESERVE-
Explore the BCP at night for a full moon hike with Paul Breaux of the Sierra Club. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the canyonlands as day turns to night during this guided interpretive hike. Many animals only come out at night to search for food. Others, like us, may change their patterns and become active in the evening when the heat of the day subsides. From frog choruses and coyote yips to a starry sky, we'll tune your senses to the sights, sounds, and smells of Central Texas.
The hiking trails have slopes and rocky areas, so participants need to be able to negotiate uneven terrain. Wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots, come prepared with drinking water and a snack if needed.
