Hi all

Silicon Flatirons was able to get us an overflow room so once we know its capacity, we'll open up additional seats. Get their early if you want to be in the main room.

Announcements:
I'm excited to say we have new sponsor, ReadyTalk. They focus on audio and web conferences of all sizes ? from ad hoc meetings to large webinars. Learn more by visiting them at www.readytalk.com.

We are introducing a new thingy to each presentation, and until we have a better name its being called segment sentiment. We partnered with Jive Software and will be using their sentiment engine to determine if the crowd liked or disliked the current presenter. The results will be displayed at the end of each presentation.

Television crews will be in the room doing a story about Boulder so remember to smile for the camera.

Boulder Digital Works at CU (http://bdw.colorado.edu)
Boulder Digital Works is dedicated to providing a space for people to learn how to learn. Digital technologies are changing everything ?? how we work and play, interact as individuals and groups, and how and what we learn. Yet, too many educational institutions have become museums of what we used to learn at the expense of why and how we learn. We decided to create a place that would do more than remember the past. We wanted to create a place that would lead into the future. We understood that it would have to be different. Boulder Digital Works is an alternative. We develop people who are generative, integrated thinkers, and can work collaboratively. Everything we do evolves from a foundation that combines creativity, technology, and business. People from different disciplines in industry and academe come here to ask questions, share ideas, and solve problems. BDW bridges the widening critical gap between academe and industry, between thinking and doing.

I crafted this email from my new desk, its the perfect height, came with a very comfy chair and free snacks. Pete thanks for keeping it warm and Foundry thanks for keeping the price just right. If you're in the hood please stop in and say hi.
