African Bead Show -- Metal,Bone, Glass, etc. SHORT NOTICE!

Short notice!

The African bead vendor is coming back through.

Those of you know he has a great selection of hand made beads in metal, ceramic, glass, bone, wood, rock, etc.  Sizes from very small 2-3mm metal spacers up to hand-sized beads in ceramic or glass.

These are beads you WILL NOT find in any craft store, or even in most of the local shops (they don't carry them).  We do stock a fair sample of his beads, but the prices are definitely better from him (He only deals in cash, and while we are USUALLY set up to run the charges for him, I don't have the ability to do it this time.  So cash only.)

The metal beads come in all sizes from tiny spacers (which are very popular) to LARGE ornate beads that are more of a craft project than a jewelry design.

The metal beads are very popular for designs, especially the smaller hand pounded spacers.  They are available in brass, copper, nickle/silver.

He also has very expensive vintage, and collectible beads.

Much of what he has is very, very limited, and you won't see it again.  That's why I can't tell you what else he has!  But the metal beads, and some of that glass are regulars.

The beads do NOT all "scream" africa! :)  Some people are afraid of that.  But they have unique personality like hand made beads from all parts of the world.  *some* of the beads are very, very "african".  But most are colorful and unique, and great starting points for your own creations, even here in Pittsburgh ;)

That is why the metal spacers and small beads are so popular.  They are unique, and easy to use.

See you then!
