From: Vany

HI guys, as you can see below I was contacted by this woman who has to get rid of her dog due to some very real issues.  She wants/has to get rid of the dog pronto and just figured I would forward this to you guys to see whether you have any ideas or know anyone that can help.  It is a 3 year old beagle.  I left her a message about some other questions I have, and am waiting to hear from her, but any assistance from anyone would be greatly apprecaited, even if it just names of places that could help her.  Thank you for your time.

To Whom it May Concern,

As I type this I am crying my eyes out.  Please know we love
dog and treat him wonderfully.  3 years ago we bought Duke from
some website called Next Day Pups.  He was born on the same day
daughter was born and we fell in love with him.  When he
arrived he
was adorable but immediately we noticed how skittish he was.
figured he'd out grow it and we loved him and raised him with
daughter.  By the time they were almost 2, Duke bit our
above her eye requiring stitches.  We decided it was our fault
not properly training him, so we bought in a trainer.  For the
year and a half we had no problems between the two of them.
those 2 years Duke developed health problems, he started to
seizures and had problems with his back.  The seizures happen
about 3 or 4 times a year and do not require meds and we
his back by changing his diet to  raw foods and saw amazing
He rarely suffer any back episodes now but as of last night he
my daughter again.  She fell on him by accident scaring him and
in return bit her.  If children weren't in the equation he
would be
a perfect dog.  He has never once snapped at any adult, but is
scared of most people he doesn't know.  He is a loving and
dog but we have to get rid of him.  Our only problem is trying
find someone to take on him and his problems.  I feel like a
horrible person have to let him go.  I would like nothing more
to keep him, however since we got him there has been an
addition to
our family and I can't risk this happening to her.  I am
out to you for help.  Since this is his 2nd offense I would
hate to
have the county take him, I am not sure if they will or not but
since we had to take our daughter to the hospital for both
bites it
automatically gets reported.  Please contact me as soon as
possible.  I am not even sure what you can do but anything

Thank you for your kindness,

Nicole Mendolia
