This is an alternative to sitting in a large class. I conduct the class room in my home in small groups where you can ask questions and discuss issues. This class will follow the State approved lesson plan. Each student will be provided with the Lesson Plan Book (Red Book), and handouts expanding on the topic. I was a Criminal Justice Instructor with the N.C. Division of Prisons, as well as other duties, I and have vast experience in criminal law, and criminal behavior. The class will include how the "bad guys" think, what they look for in a target, and how to avoid conflict. The morning will focus on use of force laws, and what is in the Legislature now. You will be given links to NC Firearms Laws, and House Bill 650, also known as the Castle Doctrine, as well as other information. The afternoon will focus on handgun safety and defensive shooting techniques. The shooting techniques will be high stress intuitive shooting taught to military personal and law enforcement officers. The class will also provide information needed to make an informed handgun selection, and concealed carry options. Bring the hand gun you plan to carry, UNLOADED IN THE HOUSE PLEASE. If you don't have one, you can use one of mine and pay me for the ammo. The student must be at least 21 years old, and a legal resident of North Carolina for at least 30 days. The shooting proficiency test will be held at Eagle 1 Range. We will discuss a convenient date for the shooting test. http://eagle1supply.com/ The test is a total of 30 rounds at a man sized target, with 10 rounds each at 3, 5, & 7 yards, with 21 in the high upper chest target area. Call if you have questions or want to discuss the class.
