I am a new member. I support the Youth Turkey Hunt Program wherever and whenever I can. So much so in fact that I am inviting any youth to accompany me on private land in Julian where I hunt this spring season. I cannot take his father (or mother) as that may raise eyebrows with the landowner. Kids are ok with him though. We have shot dozens of Toms there. Three doubles and one huge tom with an 11.5' beard.
I will try to attend tonights meeting. You can forward this for your membership's information if you wish.
Regards, Tom Stephan.

All: Today's Union Tribune on page B3 is
requesting readers to answer the following question.
New Question: Do you support letting mentored
youth hunt wild turkey's on a county preserve?
Vote at union/tribune/tell-us of call (619)
[masked] or (800) BIG-NEWS ext. 2506
I just voted (YES) via telephone.
We need your support. Please just a simple
telephone call and answer yes.
An open space preserve is not a County/State park,
but an area the County can use to justify allowing building congested housing
somewhere else in the County.
