8th Annual 'National Ammo Day' Event

From their website:

November 19 is National Ammo Day.

It is a nationwide BUYcott of ammunition. You buy ammunition. 100 Rounds a person.

The goals of Ammo Day:

The goal of National Ammo Day is to empty the ammunition from the shelves of your local gun store, sporting goods, or hardware store and put that ammunition in the hands of law-abiding citizens. Make your support of the Second Amendment known—by voting with your dollars!

There are an estimated 75 MILLION gun owners in the United States of America. If each gun owner or Second Amendment supporter buys 100 rounds of ammunition, that’s 7.5 BILLION rounds in the hands of law-abiding citizens!

The gun/ammunition manufacturers have been taking the brunt of all the frivolous lawsuits, trying to put these folks out of business. Well, not if we can help it! And we CAN help it by buying ammunition on November 19!

I have participated in this event for a few years now, and this year I am doing something just a bit different. I am going to make a sign (or two) and will be at the corner of 32nd Street and Indian School Road in front of the Ace Hardware - THAT SELLS AMMO - and promote National Ammo Day, the fact that buying rounds are easy and available; and that they strengthen America with each box held. I will try and coordinate my efforts with the actual 2nd Amendment March in Tempe, and attend that in between local sign-waving.

I urge everyone that can do something like this in their locale - DO IT! If not, come on by my location and let's get a crowd going. Sounds like a PARTY...

There's still plenty at Bass Pro or other large stores. It depends what you are looking for.

At the Mesa gun show last weekend, there was plenty in all common calibers. One company had "bulk" quantities (500 or 1k rds) of beautiful 9MM for <10¢ and .38 SPEC for 12¢! I expect similar deals at the AZ Fairgrounds 30 NOV - 02 DEC!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
