16 inch softball (Chicago ball) game. Recreational beer game

Since it's the off season, we would like to get together for a game(s) of 16 inch softball.  If you are not familiar with 16 inch softball, feel free to use google to get all the info.  Basically it's a much larger, softer ball so the use of gloves is not needed.  Bring all the beer you want to improve your playing ability.  We are working on the location, most likely Piedmont Park, Central Park, Peachtree Battle Park, or Candler Park.  Most of these places require a deposit to reserve the fields which I am willing to cover, however I need to make sure that we will have the proper number of people need to play.  Please respond to this meetup if you are interested and feel free to email me for more information.  [masked]

Keep your fingers crossed for a pro season this year, and hope to see you on the softball field for a "friendly" game of Chicago Ball.

It looks like we should have a good turnout for 16 inch softball on July 9th. Again, the field is reserved for a block of time so be sure to arrive on time. Just some reminders, Piedmont Park is a dry park (unless you have a permit) so although the rule is not strictly enforced, they will give out tickets if you are caught blatantly displaying your adult beverage. That being the case, please try not be too conspicuous with your drinks, and I will bring plastic opaque cups so that you can carry a
