JULY 12-18, 2013 - BELMONT STATION PRESENTS:
PUCKERFEST - A CELEBRATION OF SOUR, WILD, & FUNKY BEER!
Thanks to Kim for cluing me in on this tasty return to Portland after a couple weeks out in the woods...
Now in its seventh year, Puckerfest has established itself as one of the most popular events during Oregon Craft Beer Month. This year we'll kick things off on Friday, July 12th at 12pm, and roll through as many sour and funky things as possible over the course of the week.
Adventurous beer lovers can look forward to a rotating cast of up to 20 wild and funky beers on tap daily, along with numerous "Meet the Brewer" nights where we bring our friends from around the region into the Biercafé to share their stories and some extra special beers. Best of all, the brand new Rich Bobkin Memorial Biergarten has doubled our seating capacity, so there's room for even more sour beer-loving folks!
And want a fun way to track the beers you drink wherever you go? Download a smartphone app called Untappd.
And please consider public transit, carpooling with a designated driver, or another form of safe transportation to get home from this event. Biking and walking are great too, but be sure to wear lights and not enjoy too many brews if cycling, and wear a helmet of course. Use the comments section to coordinate a fun safe time for all. :^)
