AFRO-CARIBBEAN MUSIC NIGHT: By popular demand, we are bringing back Wamba(live Afro-jazz, African drums and Highlife) to Vie De Boheme on Saturday July 6 at 9pm till 2 Am. As usual, Mr DJ Dullah will ensure that you go home completely depleted after dancing to his unique way of keeping the tempo going! We are not afraid of the Waterfront blues festival that is happening at the same time .....Address: 1530 SE & &th ave, cover $10

What a wonderful night we had at The Afro-Carribean Music Nite, the band Wamba and DJ Dullah were up to their reputation....150 people came through the door great ambience( no nice pics to post yet, mine are too dark but i am scrambling to get different ones from friends)! We Already have a line up for next month and this time we have 2 parties back to back, Aug 3rd will be a salsa live band with DJ dullah and then Aug 9 will see a BIG Afro-Carribean on a cruiser( Portland Spirit ) with 6 DJs along the columbia river. 400 places on the boat but we have only 70 tickets left....they r selling like hot cakes! Come rock the boat with us :-) Call this #[masked] or[masked] to get tickets!

Sorry that this coming party nite is going to be a no-host party (i wish i can double myself through cloning) since, i am going to host the entire event as the promoter, but i will try my best by stopping at each table and introduce myself!

What is unique about the band Wamba is that they are great performers in live music genre(Afro-jazz, Afro-beat, Highlife and drums), entertainment is guarantied!

Love Vie de Boheme, but I'll be at the Huey Lewis concert that night.
