Oregon Public House Fences for Fido Fundraiser

Let's go support this great organization!  I made the time early to get there for the happy hour (2pm - 5pm), but they are open 11:30am - 11ish so please go earlier or later with your own group of friends, or with other members of the group.  Feel free to organize that through comments below, or if you're an organizer, by copying this event page and setting up a second later one.

The Oregon Public House is a completely non-profit pub that donates all of its net profits to charities. Fences For Fido has a unique opportunity to become one of those charities for all of 2014. Every relationship begins with a first date, right? Well, on Monday, Sep 9 we need ALL of YOU to come to Oregon Public House for a meal and and brew to show them how many local passionate (and hungry) supporters we have! Our goal is to raise enough money to get on the list for all of 2014, which includes extra perks. No matter how much we raise on Sep 9, it will all come to FFF to help us unchain fidos. Just like the motto of OPH, let's all "Have a Pint Change the World". Vegan friendly menu, kid friendly restaurant, dogs welcome at sidewalk seating.

Info above is from the Facebook event page:

Want a fun way to track the beers you drink wherever you go? Download a smartphone app called Untappd.

Please consider public transit, carpooling with a designated driver, or another form of safe transportation to get home from this event.  Biking and walking are great too, but be sure to wear lights and not enjoy too many brews if cycling, and wear a helmet of course.  Use the comments section to coordinate a fun safe time for all. :^)

I'll still be there at 6 for sure, and I'm sure a lot of other people will be also. NW Veg that I volunteer with has made this their monthly happy hour too, from 5:30 to 7:15 according to the page for that event.
