Do you like Donated Walking Man Beer and to Support a Great Cause?

Donated band for the night to boogie to.  Dublin Down is giving us the run of the place. Walking Man brewery has donated two kegs for this event.

This is a project I have been working on for some time and this is the final hoopla party! My goal was to get 300 soccer balls to Djibouti, Africa and I have about 200 sponsored so far.  Military Outreach teams will spread these balls to poor and underprivileged children through 6,000 square miles.  If 10 children benefit by one ball, we reach 3,000 children and help them play the sport they love.

This event is to push for the final 100.  So how this event will work is: Donate $10 for a sovenier bracelet which equates to one soccer ball to Djibouti and get free music and dancing and free beer (although Brandon has to charge a $1 per beer per WA state liquor laws so beer is basically free).

Hi Michelle, I reckon I could help out. I used to be more active organizing: meet the brewer(s), tastings, beer festivals, and release parties. After putting so much into making them happen, I got burned out from the "no shows"; kinda took a toll on my enthusiasm. Anyway.... So, Bob's coming, that's funny, he's not known as a chatty fella, but he's good hearted. Maybe it's their new assistant brewer, I hear he's brewing Bob's original recipes. Wow, two kegs, that's very kind of them. We only have 15 from our group, did you cross post the event with another group? I can host our group, if you wanted to host the other group.

That would be awesome! Cory is now the main brewer or so I am told and is awesome and super sweet and down to earth! He was happy to give to this cause! This is really not cross hosted between Meetup events but in other ways that is why I wanted a Meetup Organizer to help with "Meetup signups" as I am afraid my time will be limited to the amount of activity that is expected to happen. So I appreciate your help!!! This is a such wonderful cause and has been one dear to my heart!! I am working on a couple other free kegs from the Venue across the street. We'll see if it will happen or not at such short notice but I am crossing my fingers. Thanks again!

Lance you are an Organizer. Would you be willing to help me out and co-host? This event is getting so big we might have to spill over into the bar across the street and yes I am working on specials over there as well. Happy to say 2 kegs from Walking Man from the icy gorge got delivered successfully today. The main brewer is coming as well if anyone cares to chat with him.

Being the host for this entire event, you might have to seek me out to introduce yourself if we haven't met yet. If anyone wishes to be a co-host, that would be awesome!
