HALLOWEEN TREMONT BEER CRAWL OCT. 4TH @ 4 P.M.

It’s time for another legendary (infamous?) Tremont Beer Crawl.  This time we are going to kick it up a notch.  You can come in regular dress or dress in our best Halloween costumes.  It's totally it up to you!  Thought it would be a blast in costume.

We will start at the Tremont Taphouse with its beautiful sea of taps.  We'll work our way down Starkweather to Lincoln Park Pub, Prosperity Social Club, Hotz Café, and The Flying Monkey, then down Professor Ave to Edison’s Pub, The Treehouse, and wrap it up with tacos at Bario.   Estimate 30 - 60 minutes at each location, depending on whether you’re racing to be ahead of the pack or like to linger.

Updated 9/28 - Here's the schedule!  We’ll also hand out maps, so you’re sure to find other crawlers regardless of your pace, or if you join us later in the evening.  If you start at the Taphouse, I strongly suggest that you park near the later locations and walk to the Taphouse.  It is inconvenient to return there later.  As always, we encourage carpooling, cabs, and hotels.

Looks like we'll have a great crowd.  A large one!  As an addendum to the Start time, we request that you do not hurry to "be on time" to the Taphouse.  They  can only hold half the group (assuming the weather allows for the patio), so if we have people arriving as others are leaving, the flow will be much better.

Yes, it's a strange request if this is your first time at the event.  This works differently than crawls you may have done in the past.  We migrate along in a steady stream of small groups.  So really, crawlers are spread amongst 3 locations at any given time.  It's the only way to fit everyone into all the bars.  They're all so great and unique, you really don't want to skip one.

Keep your fingers crossed that Mother Nature gives us a dry day.  We'll need the patios!

Cheers!

Hi all! Now that it's looking like the threat of rain is going down, the numbers are going up. Mother Nature is smiling on us again. This is going to be a great crowd. Logistically though, I need to stress again that we can't have 60+ people at the Taphouse at the same time. So assistance in staggering arrivals will be *GREATLY* appreciated. You will still get to every location, regardless of when you arrive. As odd as it sounds, being late is actually courteous to the bar and its other patrons, and will keep your organizer from having a heart attack :)

If you're joining us later, head to any one of the 3-4 bars that are on the schedule at any given time. People will be there, for sure. You can text me at[masked], but be patient if I don't get back to you right away. Cindy is under the weather and won't be joining us. Mikey and Laura are helping me with the start, but it's going to be a hectic day with this great turnout.

Get ready for a fun time!

Well, the weather is looking like a rain jacket may be in order for scattered showers. An improvement from earlier forecasts. We've lucked out before with the clouds parting just as the first beer is poured. We're hardy - sprinkles cannot deter a good time, right?

    A few notes:
    1. The fastest way to get everyone served: rotate buying rounds with a few people, so there's 1 person to cash out each time instead of 4. It adds up.

    2 Cash also helps [#1 + #2 = extra efficient]

    3. The “Seriously? We have to remind you?” rules worked last time, as I did not receive any serious complaints. So as a refresher, all participants must:
    - Be respectful to your bartenders and servers
    - Be courteous to other crawlers and patrons
    - Be considerate to the neighbors
    - Be sure to settle your tabs

    4. Relax, move at your own speed, introduce yourself to new people, feel free to invite non-crawlers you meet to join us, tip generously, be patient, don't hesitate to call a cab, and HAVE A GREAT TIME!

What ages are going to this, Im 21 and idk if Ill be the only 21 year old lol

    1 · September 15

    • Barb

With over 100 attendees, there's multiple people of every age group. I can't promise 21, but you'll definitely have mid-twenties. Don't underestimate the elders - some of them could probably drink you under the table, LOL. Plus we "adopt" people as we go. So if you meet a random person along the way, invite them to join for the rest of it.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
