Bones, Bugs, & Dead Animals: Halloween Party

Join your Meetup friends for the Fourth Annual Halloween bash at the Natural History Museum.

Our fourth year of Meetup participation at the museum will no doubt be a blast!  Enjoy a safe, indoor event with good food, music, drinks, and friends.

Performing again is the cover band Abby Normal.

The whole museum is open to explore. The Shafran Planetarium loops the multimedia show called Sonic Vision, computer animation set to rock & techno music.  Included on the tracklist, they play Thriller, yes on Halloween!  There would also be a few demonstrations of the astronomy program.

Parking is complimentary in their lot, and a photo booth is provided for free photography.  The official time is 8PM until midnight.  However, in the past it has opened to guests well before 8, and the party was still rockin' (though progressively more sparse) after 12.

Included in the admission is one drink ticket, as well as unlimited food, juice, and pop.  A private catering company provides a tasty variety.  In the past, they have had a pasta station, cold cuts & cheese spread, burger/chicken/pork slider station, seafood, and lots of popcorn of all flavors.  Last year, they had TWO Chipotle-type burrito stations.  Just don't forget to save room for dessert!  Their pastry offerings are amazing.  A cash bar is there, charging about $3 per drink.

For Nature League Museum members, admission is $25.  For others paying by phone or web, admission is $30.  At the gate, admission is $35.  We've secured a special offer for us.  Once again, Meetup members enjoy a discount.  Our members will save $5 off their tickets.  Whether paying by web or phone, mention:
