Friday Games at "The Landing" at Crystal City Shops

Let's start playing games a wee bit earlier this Friday.  We'll start at 4 pm at the Crystal City Shops in the open area called "The Landing."  There are lots of tables and many eateries in the mall from which to choose. We'll be starting at 4 pm, but feel free to wander in whenever you'd like.  We'll be going until midnight, as usual.

I'll bring a collection of party and board games.  Please feel free to bring anything you might like to play. This is a fun group of non-competitive people who play everything from silly party to hard-core strategy games.  First time gamers are very welcome!  It's a wonderful opportunity to learn some fun games with very nice people.

Parking in the garages is free after 4 pm.  I'm not sure if the entrance for the parking garage on 18th Street will be open on Friday but, if not, there is another garage for the Crystal City Shops on Crystal Drive between 18th and 15th Street.  You need to take a ticket to enter the garage, but the gates to exit will be open when you leave. The elevator will bring you to Level S near Hamburger Hamlet.  Walk past Hamburger Hamlet on your left and turn right when you run into King Street Blues.  The Landing will be on your left, just past San Antonio Bar & Grill.

This is a link to a map of the Crystal City Shops:  The Landing is in the yellow section of the map.

So, who has Friday off and instead of fighting the crowds of shoppers would like to spend the afternoon with me fighting mad sorcerors, riding flying carpets, and - if necessary - breaking out of prison? I'm looking for five people to join me for an epic session of Tales of the Arabian Nights, and if you're all amenable to starting even earlier than 4:00, so am I! We'll be playing with my set, which has expansions of my own design; they don't make the game any longer or more complex, just better. Nonetheless, count on a six-hour game or longer. No, I am not asking for advice on how to make it shorter; I like this game to last six hours! Leave a reply if you want to play, and let me know how early you'd like to start. Bluntly, I'm ready to start right now, but I'll wait until Friday afternoon.

Hi all, I'd like to attend. I will probably arrive around 5pm or so. I will bring a few games, both simple and complex, for all to enjoy. I am also considering bringing The Great Museum Heist, a game that even my friends who hate games enjoy.
