Bring Your Own Game Night @ Silver Diner in Clarendon, Wed, 6:30-10:00

Come out for fun party and board games at the Silver Diner in Clarendon on Wednesday from 6:30-10:00.  It's a great chance to learn new games or play your favorites with non-competitive people who like to laugh.  Silver Diner has lots of great food and free parking.  It's also walking distance from the Clarendon metro.  We're very fortunate to have this great venue for our game nights and they take care of us for 3-1/2 hours, so please spend a minimum of $5 on food or drink and tip generously (at the very least $2, even if 20% of your bill would be $1).  Thanks!

Thanks - just checked my temperature again and I'm at 102.4 so I ate a handful of goldfish and took some ibuprofen

Hello everyone. Our usual host, Shravan, claims to be sick. (I suspect his girlfriend might be in town...) Regardless, he usually brings a large box of games so for the regulars and occasional players, please bring more games than you usually do to compensate.

I come straight from work, but have Carcasonne (with about 5 expansions mixed in), Puerto Rico, and a card game called The Great Dalmuti.

To any first timers coming tonight, welcome in advance. I think you'll enjoy the group. Upon arrival, just tell the SD host/hostess that you're there for the gaming group, and they'll bring you to our table. Or for the adventurous, just blow past the greeter and try to find us. We aren't often confused with any other party in the joint!

    Cheers,
    Toby

Okay with Nicholas being gone, I feel like we'll need to spice this up a bit tonight. Can someone start trash talking or something else provocative?

Is it? I only watched - it seemed amusing and creative, although in a macabre kind of way. But I'm always up for Settlers.
