September Beer Club @ The Flying Saucer for "Pints For Prostates" Kickoff Event

This might just be the biggest and best Charlotte Beer Club meeting yet.

We will kick off the "Pints For Prostates" national prostate cancer awareness program (www.ustoo.org/pints) right here in Charlotte! We'll feature great beers, some special items as well as our regular tastings and discussions. As a special guest, Dan Newman of PCA Racing, a motocross competitor and prostate cancer survivor, will be on hand with his dirt bike. We're starting a little earlier at 7 p.m., so plan to get to the Saucer on time.

The Flying Saucer is selling raffle tickets between now and Sept. 9th for a chance to win great merchandise donated by various breweries. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The prizes include a kegerator donated by Carolina Beer, a hammock from Labatt Blue, a golf bag from Widmer Bros., pub signs from Dogfish Head Brewery and Highland Brewing, and gift baskets from several brewers. You can also make a donation directly to Us TOO International, the 501(c)3 group that is benefiting from the campaign, by purchasing a blue wristband.
