Meet with other local beer drinkers to discuss (and experience) the intricate delights of this favorite social lubricant! As I'm sure you've gathered, we're a bunch of beer lovers (not beer snobs) that get together to appreciate the world's greatest social lubricant, beer! We're passionate about the culture and history, and taste, of beers worldwide - and invite those who share or have a special expertise (such as home brewing) to offer their services at one of our meetup events. We aim to educate the beer-impaired, and give you a great time with zero drama. But we also ask that, whatever event you attend, you always drink responsibly and contribute in a positive way to the group. If you have any questions, or suggestions, please feel free to contact me or one of our assistant organizers - and be sure to use the message board for anything shareworthy. A few rules to keep us drama-free: 1: No drinking and driving (above the legal limit - or whatever your limit is). 2: If you RSVP "yes," then show up. Don't show up three times with a "yes" RSVP, and we really just can't trust that you're going to show up at all in the future. 3: If you RSVP "yes" to a meetup that costs money, and don't change your RSVP by the deadline, pay up - going or not. And the five reasons we'd ever ask you to leave: 1. You made a member or members feel uncomfortable - either by being rude, obnoxious, overly flirtatious, prejudicial, or just a not very nice person. 2. You drank, and then drove, when you shouldn't have, and don't see that as being a problem. 3. You RSVPed "yes" three times and didn't show up. It's rude you know. 4. You refused to pay for a paid event that the organizers had to front the money on. 5. You've been inactive for over three months.
