Come out for the weekend and enjoy a part of Texas with trees! Yes they do exist.
There are many activities including non-motorized boating (no ramp/small lake); fishing in a stocked lake; nature study; hiking; geo-caching; and biking (both mountain biking and road riding). The scenic, 12-mile paved road between Buescher and Bastrop state parks, which is winding and hilly, is ideal for biking but should be used only by experienced cyclists. The park also includes about 8-miles of mountain bike/trail riding through Pine trees and Cedar Elms. Canoe and tandem-kayak rentals are available.
This is a group for anyone interested in human powered off road adventures such as but not limited to mountain biking, rock climbing, camping, kayaking, bouldering, trail running, hiking, geocache etc. All skill levels are welcome. We started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. Looking forward to exploring the outdoors with everybody
