For the daily play dates at Robinswood of course! *laughs*
Fellow dog park friend...
How can you go wrong w/nice people having fun w/their dogs?!
Thank you, my guys had an absolute blast. See you at the next one.
YES!! We would love to do playdates. Thumper is still soooo very sad right now. She just sits around and doesn't want to play with us right now. I'll email you my phone number.
We are looking forward to seeing you all again and are plotting to attend the August Frenchie Frolic with Aelinor. August 4th marks the last day of her post heartworm confinement!!!
Hi Samantha! Great to have you in our group! I just changed our Meet-up venue and information, and would love to see you tomorrow at our new event and location! Hope your having an amazing day! ~Jen
Welcome Samantha!! I hope to meet up with you soon!
Thank you. We adopted her from south Korea but didn't think to check for heartworms when we got her last year because it's so uncommon here in the Northwest. She wasn't showing symptoms but her yearly X-Ray inicated blockage & the test confirmed it. It is tramsmited by mosquitos & the heartworm must actually experience a life-cycle within the mosquito. The mosquito bites another dog and the cycle starts again. The shot is actually arsenic based! We chose the safest path available. Brave girl!
Aelinor got Shot #1 yesterday. It was to hard to warch her dramatic reactions to these heartworm medications (nothing with the word 'cide' at the end can possibly feel good). She was a trooper and rallied last night. We are now preparing ourselves for Shots #2 and 3 in one month. Hopefully we'll see you all within a month or two after that one - and the heartworms will be gone!
Thank you Samantha, we are keeping our girl calm and focusing on a positive outcome. Three shots needed in total. Ick. I hate shots.
Ha well... I only took a few. My camera is possessed and would keep shutting itself off.
