Hi I've been in the NJ for about 2 years. I'm kinda shy so it's been difficult for me. I work and come home. My best friend who lives in Ohio got me into belly dance on youtube. :) She also takes lessons. I want to have fun and meet new people!

Great performance @ Dance for the Dead! Liked your duet w/Suzahn as well. Hope to see you perform again soon & mentioned to Basmah how her lovely student,now Birnurs, was continueing the tradition of the dance as art. :-)

Hi Cindy,

Inshallah I'll be there next thursday 8/20. I was wondering if you know of a place that I can get a costume (top/skirt) at a reasonable price? I'm very busty and never can fit the one size tops so I've started to ask around. Marhaba is used both by Turks/Arabs, my husband (we're separated) is half and half and uses it only with his mom, who is Turkish. Alot of the words cross though between the two. :) Can't wait to see you next week!
