Membership Dues

Happy New Year!

 

It has been almost a year since I took over as the organizer of this unique group. My friend had started it several years ago and when the group was slated to close down I decided to 'save" it.

Meetup charges organizers $20/month and my personal contribution has been $240 so far (with my credit card so it does not reflect the paypal group account). Member contributions have been $19 in cash and $15.39 through paypal, totalling $34 as event dues.

I am requesting member contribution of $5 each to keep the group sustainable. If you cannot afford $5 then please contribute any amount possible. The idea is not to "make money" but have the meet up charges paid for collectively by the Berkeley group. You can contribute using the group paypal account that I am happy to make public to the group.

I'm a busy professional though I look foward to member participation and assistance in organizing events as we continue to 'Toast Berkeley'!
