The Arapahoe Library District is celebrating the grand opening of their new Southglenn Branch, which has moved into the Streets at Southglenn, with an ENTIRE WEEKEND OF CELEBRATIONS!!
- A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17. Come out and see the new site and have some donuts and coffee.
- Flumpa & Friends - LIVE! from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17. (Science rocks with Flumpa, the famous tree frog and Wendy, the singing scientist. This national production is a high-energy musical the whole family will enjoy. Especially enjoyed by kids ages 3-11.)
- Dr. Noize LIVE!, 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. (Be part of Dr. Noize's audience of "misunderstood geniuses" and help him arrange and reread songs playing his big collection of "instrumentz" and "whatchama gadgets". All ages welcome! Designed especially for kids ages 3-11.)
- Tales the Reading Raccoon will be there throughout the weekend.
