Hunan cuisine is known for being dry hot or purely hot. Hunan cuisine is often spicier than Sichuan cuisine based on pure chili content, contains a larger variety of fresh ingredients, and tends to be oilier. Another characteristic distinguishing Hunan cuisine from Sichuan cuisine is that, in general, Hunan cuisine uses smoked and cured goods in its dishes much more frequently. If you think you can handle the heat, then let's go to Hunan Chilli King. We will eat family style. Here is what we will have for dinner:
- Steamed Whole Fish with Hot Sauce (2x$9.99)
- Spicy Chicken with Hot Chilli (2x$10.99)
- Cumin Lamb (2x$12.99)
- Flavor Water Lamb (2x$14.99)
- Hot and Spicy Shrimp (2x$16.99)
Free Rice, Boiled Peanuts, and Pickled Daikon are provided. The price will be around $13 + tax + tip per person. Please bring cash. We might have to split up into 2 tables of 5 people.
No deposit is required for this event. However, all of our "Best of LA" Deluxe Dining meetup rules still apply, such as canceling must be done before the 24-hour deadline if you need to do so. If you cancel for any of the events after the 24-hour deadline or don't show, then you will be removed from the group by our organizer.
