Let's go out for Korean cuisine at Kobawoo House in Koreatown.  They are known for their Bo Ssam, which is braised pork belly.  We will eat family style.  The price will be around $18 + tax + tip per person.  Please bring cash.  Here is what we will have:

  1. Large Bo Ssam (2x$27.99)
  2. Braised Black Cod (1x$20.99)
  3. Haemul Pajun (1x$16.99)
  4. Stirfried Calamari (1x$15.99)

In additon, Banchan will also be served.

No deposit is required for this event.  However, all of our "Best of LA" Deluxe Dining meetup rules still apply, such as canceling must be done before the 24-hour deadline if you need to do so.  If you cancel for any of the events after the 24-hour deadline or don't show, then you will be removed from the group by our organizer.

    The bo ssam was perfectly tender. The large size could feed 5 people. The haemul pajun is the best that I've had. Ideally, pajun should be crispy on the outside, but chewy on the inside. Yet not be too oily. Kobawoo's pajun fits the ideal pajun perfectly. Aside from that, I found their braised black cod to be more agreeable with my palate than Jun won's steamed black cod. Overall, it was a delectable meal. This is a small restaurant. So come early. They fill up very quickly.
