Civic Hacknight

This night is for technologists, designers, developers, and mapmakers who are working on projects. Consider this to be a bit of a study hall. Bring your projects, apps, datasets, and questions, and we will try to collectively answer them.

Lightning talks from members of our community:

Ralph Yozzo at http://property.brooklyncoop.org will share an analysis of the New York State/City Property Tax system and how to easily analyze and create visualizations of the data.  Plus all NYC ACRIS data queryable at your fingertips!

Andrew Nicklin of OpenNY will share an Open Data Visualization Project.

Volkan Unsal will share Wishlist, an app that helps NYC middle schoolers find a high school.

For whoever was looking at ID stuff tonight, Alex Cholas-Wood from NYU's Center for Urban Science and Progress presented a project to aid the city's Municipal ID program at a hacknight back in Feb.
