Brigade Civic Hacknight

[Note about the venue - You must RSVP with the name that appears on a photo ID. RSVPs will close at 4:00 PM the day of the event in order to give building security a list.]

What is a hacknight?
This night is for technologists, designers, developers, and mapmakers who are working on projects. Consider this to be a bit of a study hall. Bring your projects, apps, datasets, and questions, and we will try to collectively answer them.

BetaNYC is committed to hosting safe and open events for all. By attending this event you are committing yourself to BetaNYC's Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy.

Lighting talks:
At every hacknight, we feature three lighting talks. These are in-depth 3 to 5 min long presentations that dive into projects YOU are working on.

Code for America Fellows Sam Hashemi will share TransitMix, a tool to design, remix, and share your perfect transit map.

Noel Hidalgo will brief the community on the City Record Online project and how you can help unlock the City's log file.

Samantha Tse will talk briefly about AT&T's Connected Intersections competition and why you should participate.

Thank you Dev BootCamp NYC, BetaNYC's event partner.

DEV BOOTCAMP is an educational experience designed for the future. We focus on hands-on learning over old-school lectures. From day one, you’ll dig in and start coding. It’s the only way to learn. Apply today and learn.

Loved hearing about City Record--good luck with that! Excited to move the research forward on housing, thanks to the Beta community.
