How do you want to improve NYC?

We believe deeply in improving NYC citizens relation with physical locations by sharing with them, in real time, how places are. This is our first application but we're looking at a variety of additional ones, all leveraging crowdsourced and existing video streams upon which we layer computer vision algorithms: parking spaces, vehicle speed tracking, crowdsourced neighborhood watches etc.

Introduction

I'm the Co-Founder of Placemeter, a NY startup working at the confluence of computer vision, big data and open data. We're venture-backed, graduated from TechStars NY Spring 2013 and just won the Dublin's WebSummit Startup competition
