Hi,

I am working with DecideNYC.com, a voter guide website for the 2013 elections, and we are looking for help from a developer. I am passing along a message from the founder, Ben Max. Any help from the BetaNYC community would be very appreciated!

Thanks,
Talia

Hello,

My name is Ben Max, I started and run DecideNYC.com, a guide to the 2013 New York City elections. My team and I have put together a great deal of information and some very useful resources for voters at our site. With the primary less than a month away we are looking to build a couple of new tools to engage voters and really take our site to its pinnacle as voters look at the candidates up for election.

I am trying to find a developer to help us. We are looking to build two things: one is a tool to allow voters to compare candidate platforms side by side and the other is a brief quiz that will allow participants to be matched with a particular candidate based on their selections. We will, of course, provide all of the political content. Unfortunately, we are not at all a monetized operation, so there is no money involved, though I can probably afford to give someone a couple hundred dollars for their time. Please let me know if you or someone you know might be interested - I am ready and able to discuss further in person or over the phone.

Thank you very much.

Ben
