Not my call ... I'll be only speaking briefly ... I am open. We could grab a video clip on the side.

In terms of my afternoon event, this recording from the other month captures the longer one hour version quite well:

Thanks for the offer!

Speaking of webcasting, did you want to webcast this event?

If there is available Internet bandwidth at the venue I could do it, or else record it and post afterwards.

Thanks to encouragement from the UNDP and betaNYC, I've been able to
put together presentation and dialogue next week in New York during a
last minute trip.

Please join us and pass this on:

New Voices: The Civic Technology and Open Government Opportunity
* 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. - UNDP, 304 E 45th St
* RSVP is required to enter this easy to access location

Join civic technology leader Steven Clift and White House Champion of
Change for Open Government, for a presentation and dialogue on
reaching new and more representative voices through open government
and civic technology.

The stakes are high - will open government and civic technology
ironically lead to greater concentration of power among fewer, often
similar voices or will more open government and community engagement
online lead to better government decisions, stronger communities and
more problem-solving?

Clift will highlight myth-busting research from the Pew Internet and
American Life project and share unique highlights from E-Democracy's
Knight Foundation-funded BeNeighbors.org initiative that is designed
to foster local neighbourhood engagement online that builds bridges
across income, race, and native-born and immigrant communities.
