Greetings BetaNYCers,

I'd like to announce the new BetaNYC projects page at  This site concept was borrowed from our Civic Hacker friends in Chicago.  It's 100% powered by the github API, so all we need to put you on it is the URL to your project repo.

When contributors join your project, they'll show up here, along with your last update date, name, description, etc.

If you are working on a project, send me the url for your github repo and I'll add it here!

This projects page is also a project!  (It's so meta) We'd like to add:
  •  Category Tagging
  • "I need help with" frontend/backend/UX/etc
  • A project Image/logo

For now, just the github info will get us started, but if you'd like to contribute, please let me know. (This was rebuilt in the MEAN stack, so if you're a node person I could definitely use some help tidying things up)

Happy hacking!

-Chris Whong
