Data Visualization Needed for NYC Neighborhood Change

Hi BetaNYC,

I am working with a small research team on a study of how New York City neighborhoods changed from 2000 to 2010. It’s based on US Census data and reorganizes “neighborhoods” from official government delineations to a people-focused array of demographic “clusters.” We are now at the stage of the project where we would like to work with a data visualization expert on making our data come to life.

Attached is a brief RFP that explains the project in a bit more detail and describes what we are looking for (you can also view the RFP here). I invite you to apply! Because we are open to having the data expressed in whatever format is most useful, it’s fairly broadly worded. So feel free to reach out to me with questions you may have about our vision, timeline, data, etc., or pass along this email to folks you know who might be interested.

Looking forward to speaking with you soon!

Cheers,

Neil
