User testing workshop: April 23rd

From: fkh
Sent on: Tuesday, April 1, 2014 11:28 AM
Hello everyone --

Working on civic tech tools for users? Want to make those tools better by incorporating feedback and guidance from real users?

Join Code for America's Cyd Harrell on April 23rd, for a day-long deep dive into user testing. 10am-4pm. More info and registration: http://openplans.org/2014/03/come-to-a-user-testing-workshop/

During the workshop, Cyd will cover the essentials of observing users and gathering information to guide development decisions.

The workshop is open to everyone, but we’d especially like to see participation from government and community-based projects. We're asking for-profit enterprises to pay $300 (a total bargain for a day-long event!), and some free spots are available for gov and non-profits.

Looking forward to learning about user testing together.

Frank
