Re: [betaNYC] Where's the Green Book?

Dan,

It took us 2 years for the last administration to update the green book. Just as we had it, we lost it.

Making a crowd sourced / wiki version of the Green book is a great idea. You should do it. If you need help, take it to the developers list.

Why isn't The Green Book online?

Having had the Green Book "online" it's all the more shocking that's it is no longer so.
But as we all know, being "online" is a meaningless term.

What's all the more astonishing is the fanfare associated with it's initial "online" release:

Why isn't the Green Book a wiki so that updates can happen in realtime AND we could then see historical data?

There's no need for this to be a Socrata hosted open data project, just make it mediawiki and only allow editing from within nyc.gov, ok, ok, probably should also allow editing from *.gov

Thoughts?
