This wed, BetaNYC hacknight on Transportation.

From: Noel Hidalgo | B.

At this Wed's hacknight, we'll have three great lighting talks! This will be a great opportunity to bring your transit and transportation related projects and get feedback from like minded neighbors.

Kevin McCaffrey and Ivan Khilko from the New York City Economic Development Corporation will share analysis and visualizations of the MTA's subway turnstile data.

BetaNYC Organizer Chris Whong will share the technology and methodology behind building NYC Taxis: A Day in the Life

Khurshid N. Fayzullaev of the MTA will share a new mobile app that will soon be part of BusTime.

For those of you who haven't been to a hacknight, this is a gateway into civic hacking. We offer three lighting talks and an opportunity for the community to engage with each other. To maximize your time, we recommend that you bring a laptop or something you can use to take notes, design, program, etc...

FYI - We provide soda, water, and beer. Feel free to bring dinner.
