  • This location is shown only to members

*** We have a new location! Where there is a screen! A projector! And even a mini-displayport to HDMI adapter so Mac users can show n tell! (If you have a Windows laptop bring along your own VGA to HDMI adapter if you need it.) What there isn't, is coffee. Unless someone wants to pitch in, in which case I'll bring some. Send me a DM if you're up for pitching in for coffee and/or treats. *** See Location info for more details. You will need to be a member of the group to see the location/directions.

The following activities are planned:

- coffee and other treatsĀ
- discussing our Drupal projects
- showing off of Drupal websites

This is a group for all Drupallers and interested non-Drupallers. If you haven't used Drupal yet, come anyway and pepper us with questions. We are a peer to peer tech support group, a fan club, and a cheering squad for all your Drupal explorations.

If you're not familiar with Drupal, you might want to start here.

Darn! Will be out of town. Great location, though. I live two blocks away!

Are we continuing with Drupal ladder work? I would be interested in helping to bring a Joe 2 Go.

Whoops, hit enter by accident. I usually discuss this in relation to contrib modules as well as lots of our day to day work happens in that realm. If anyone is up for it please feel free to take the lead.

It was a great session Max. Thanks for leading it! I'm pretty comfortable in issue queues but haven't done much with patch testing lately (and not with git at all) so it was great to have you there.

Look forward to seeing everyone. I hope you enjoy the music of William Hung. The soundtrack for the evening has been set.

Thank you for hosting Matthew! It was a good meeting and having so much space really helped.

BTW, I'm bringing plenty of coffee but require *a coffee-making solution* (coffee machine + filters OR pour-over cones OR a pot + a portable electric stove/camp stove). Ok!

DON'T FORGET TO BRING A CUP!

    P.S. connect on Twitter? :P @jjmww

Hey Justin, thanks for the idea of bringing coffee! I'll look around and see if there's a spare coffee maker around and bring it next time. Much better idea than boxes from *$!

Sorry I won't be there. Been driving all day from E OR.

      See you in Portland!

      May 13, 2013

    • Jennifer D.

See you there Warren! We are going to try to put together a Bham Drupal lunch somewhere along the way (there's a separate discussion topic about it). See you there!

    I am hooked!

    • Jennifer D.

Yay Alissa! When you have some time, check out drupalladder.com so you can find out what the upstairs folks were up to (we are on Rung 3/4, starting from the bottom, so issue queues & patch testing). Have fun with Drupal!

Good turn-out. A variety of experience levels. Broke into 2 groups - one for a hands on exercise, one for open discussion = win-win :]

Hey, we should get a group discussion on Drupalcon Portland, for all those that are going. Never been to one, so if anyone else has then maybe they can give some input. That would be cool.

Agreed! This is my first time at a DrupalCon too. I'm hoping to be at some of the contrib sprint on Friday even if I can't write any code on the spot, it would be a huge learning experience!

I'll be returning from Salt Lake that day but hope to make it.
