I think I will take this train, as it's pretty difficult to get to otherwise. Is there a rendezvous spot and time?

Hi, does anyone know the best way to get to the Archery location on sunday? Is there a nearby subway?

Hi James! Hi everyone! I haven't been to the area, but I checked hopstop for the best possible subway route. Looks like the 7 train to flushing-main st. is best. When you guys get off the last stop (flushing-main st.) exit near intersection of Lippman Arc and Roosevelt Ave. Start out going East on Roosevelt Ave towards Lippman Arc, turn right on RT-25A(northern blvd), keep moving ahead on Crocheron Ave., turn right onto 170th St., turn left onto 39th Ave, arrive at[masked]th Ave. Hope this helps.:)

      See you all soon! Cheers!

I would check that route again. Google directions suggested it would be 45 mins to walk. That may not be accurate but it does seem like a long walk from Main St. Flushing.

For those of you coming in from the city, you can catch a LIRR train at Penn Station. Its only a 25 minute ride and cost $7 one-way. Buy an off peak ticket to Broadway on the Port Washington line, There is a train leaving at 4:18 pm arriving in Flushing at 4:42 pm.
From the station it is about 6 minutes walking distance to Queens Archery. After the lesson we can take a taxi or bus to the restaurant. The restaurant is near the 7 train, so you can take the subway back into the city. It takes about 45 minutes.

If anyone is coming from the city please let us know so we can form a group to go into flushing together.
