Kenny, the 50 miler was a much slower 18-20 miler and wind mostly out of NE and we headed south. Bike Street has done this for 6 years and I've done it for 3 , its a great event. We had a latin Fest off all you can eat and drink at the Knife . No one was dropped and everyone stopped when someone got a flat. Juan and crew put on another great event and I'm looking forward to 4th year in a row

Sorry I had to pass on the ride do to a van running me out of the bike lane landing on my knee in del ray. I seem to be ok for slower speeds 16 to 20 at this time and around 30 miles or so.
If you want to meet for a slower ride e-mail me at [masked]

75 mile group was 25 mph into the wind up to the inlet...could only hang until Palm Beach at that pace...rejoined on the way back at a more leisurely 21~22.

Today, 5/26/13, I briefly rode with 3 other cyclist.
They said the speed they were traveling was between 18 - 20 mph. They left me in the dust!!
    :-<
I am sad to say, but I too will have to negate my RSVP.
Hoping U all have a great ride!!!

This ride is not organized by me , it's done by bike street formerly Velos cycle in boynton beach . It's a fun ride and a good time drinking and eating . I'd suggest you should be able to stay at 20 miles per hour . If you get dropped you are on a1a and its easy to turn around .

Hi I will change my RSVP to no. 18-20 is still a bit much for me. Distance is no problem but speed is. Maybe another ride. Have fun :)

    Maura, Kenny & Philip:

I have cycled @ your speeds ONLY when I am in a group - drafting.
If U don't mind someone being 5 inches from your rear tire, on relative flat areas, then I don't mind going as far as U like. Just know ahead of time, if we meet a hill, My speed will drop dramatically.... But after the "hill"
I will hopefully catch up if U can slow your pace till I catch up!!!
    :-)

The Average speed is 18-20mph, The Knife opens at noon and we drink and eat like fish and take the tri trail home. The $25 is paid to Juan at the Knife or before the ride.
