Last weekend's ride was apparently a big success (sorry I missed it!), so let's try another route in the same general area this weekend:
Route map: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com?r=6018157
Saturday's forecast is dry and sunny, perfect for a 40 mile ride! However, if you prefer a 26 mile version then you can easily skip the loop into Sudbury and go directly from mile-marker 22 (our lunch-break) to 36.
There are many hills on the route but no really big ones (check out the elevation profile on the route map), and quite a few scenic sections through leafy suburbs, farms, and nature reserves. Short lunch break by Donelan's Supermarket, next to the Lincoln Commuter Rail stop.
When: Let's meet up at 10:00am and be ready to start at 10:15am. Aiming to be back around 2pm.
Where: Keyes parking lot, right behind the "Main Streets Market & Cafe" in the center of Concord. There's a water fountain and public bathroom there, and free parking.
Who: You need to be okay with a 12-14 mph average pace, and some significant hills. We will wait for everyone at the top of major hills and at confusing intersections, but please don't sign up if you can't keep a 12mph consistent pace.
