Great ride. Great people and thank for getting my gear set working. It got me to Concord where I had a new cassette installed and all is fine.

I usually average a little over 12 mph, but I'm ok if people don't want to wait for me.

this is a follow the leader type ride so we try to keep the group together. as I said in the description I am trying to keep the ride going a little bit faster. it is a long ride and we will get really stretched out

I can't make this ride but definitely will be joining a future ride; I go through Swampscott, Marblehead, Beverly all the time on my bike and would be great to ride with others instead of by myself! I teach spin and road cycle and generally am in the 14-18 and sometimes 20 mph range so hoping to have others in my range.

I'd like to join this group tomorrow, but just want to check that my cycling level will be suitable for the ride. I'm in good shape, comfortable with riding up to 50 miles in one day between 12-15 mph.

if all goes as planned, it should happen, but as you know there has to be some flexibility if flats etc happen. other riders fitness also dictates whether this is possible as well. pls look at the route / sudbury road as a short cut back to concord center

Thanks, I printed out the map in the event I need to take a short cut back. See you Sunday.

Hi Mr T eige! Is the whole ride on paved road?

    August 2, 2013

    • Mr T e.

yes, this is faster paced paved ride (road bikes) with some serious hills ( compared to the trail ride you joined us for )

      August 2, 2013

  • Ellen

I'd be interested in joining you if anyone has a bike I can borrow. Do I need to wear a helmet?

    August 1, 2013

    • Mr T e.

yes, i want riders to wear helmets.
