Ferry from Boston to P-Town and Stay at Eastham Hostel

Details of the Trip:

We'll take the Ferry from Boston to P-Town Saturday morning. There is ample parking right next to the Ferry that leaves from Boston. We'll arrive in P-Town at 12 noon - have lunch and then be on our way passing through Truro (perhaps stop at the beach) and eventually arriving in Eastham we're we'll spend the night. We'll go out to a fun place to eat/drink!

Approximately 35 miles of biking from P-Town to Eastham.

Sunday we'll bike from Eastham to P-town (again 35 miles approx) and take the fast ferry home.

Approx costs:

Cost of parking at the Ferry Saturday in Boston (don't know how much yet - I think $15)
Cost of the Ferry Saturday with Bike is $28
Cost of the Ferry Sunday with Bike is $55
Hostel Saturday Night (approx $30-35)
Meals on your own money wise but with plenty of warm/friendly company :-)

To hold your slot for this trip, please update your RSVP on the website to indicate "paid" after you have called the hostel at Tel. [masked] and have charged your one night stay. Tell them you are reserving one of the slots held under the "Fox Reservation". Any problems ask for Patricia, the Hostel Manager.

Here's the website to update your RSVP. When you go to update your RSVP, don't worry, you won't remove yourself from the "YES" category.

Hmm...the hostel shouldn't be full in Eastham because i just called last night and they said they had plenty of spots still available?? Plus one of my participants just backed out freeing up a space....But if you end up staying in Cotuit, that's fine....

We plan to take the 7:30 boat back....we're taking the fast ferry back so should get in at 9pm

I might come on this - the hostel sounds like it is full, but I have a place to stay in Cotuit, and I don't think I mind the extra miles. Which ferry are you thinking of taking back to Boston (ie when?)

Hi John, In answer to your question, I listen to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's weather forecast the day before the trip and make a decision from there....I'm more likely to go now regardless because they're so wrong sometimes....
