Concord, Lincoln and Carlisle Ride

  • Jun 23, 2012 · 8:30 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

This 30 mile ride will start out in at the Minute Man National Park Main Parking Area and Visitor Center.

Folks should plan to meet at 8:30 am and be ready to ride around 8:45 am. We should return to the parking area no later than 1:00 pm. This gives us time for breaks and assumes riders can keep a reasonable pace on this somewhat hilly ride.

Starting location: Minute Man National Park Visitor Center Parking area

Where we stop will be a group decision made at the start of ride. We will then ride past the North Bridge and then back to our starting point at Minute Man National Park Visitor Center.

For future reference, the water fountain at Concord Center runs ice cold -- 2 thumbs up :)

What time did you guys get back to the lot?

Was that you guys getting water at Concord Center at 11:30 or so? I was the half-dead looking guy in the filthy yellow jersey who was too tired to act sociable :)

Popped a tube in Maynard and had to hoof it the rest of the way home, for a total of ~54 on the bike, and 7.5 beside it =-P

Sorry to miss you all today - took a few wrong turns and ended up driving in just as you were riding out of the parking lot!! Lucky for me Mark was late too so we did a nice 20 mile ride on our own - tried to meet up with you in Concord Center but to no avail. Hope to catch you on a future ride (when I will arrive on time!).

It's still on and off a little bit here in Hudson/Marlborough. It's light enough that I'll still ride out, but if I don't make it there by 8:45 feel free to take off and I'll chase...

chance of rain tomorrow, bring your rain gear just in case... but i am thinking that any rain would come in the late afternoon as temps start to cool again.

Ferns sounds like a nice option ... it would be nice for the whole group to stop at one location and if majority prefers ferns, then we can go there
