Today, the Minuteman Bikeway is one of the most popular and successful rail-trails in the United States, enjoyed for both healthy recreation and transportation.

The bikeway has become a new type of “Main Street” where neighbors and strangers alike come together while riding, walking, or skating on the path.

I really enjoyed the great bike ride with everyone and riding the entire trail as it was a nice workout and also had fun hanging out at the BBQ festival and listening to some live music.

The five of us had a great day, with a ride all the way into Davis Square and back. There was also a BBQ festival in Lexington for lunch on the way back.

Hi. I'm new to this. I've always wanted to ride the Minuteman Trail. (Arlington is my hometown.) However, I recently heard that this trail is crowded with lots of pedestrians. Is that true? I'm wondering how that will impact the bike ride. Is it slow going?
