From SB we ride up to the LART, cross NO. LB and down the SGRT

This is an enjoyable ride from Seal Beach along the coast of Long Beach and up the LA River Trail. Then we ride across No. Long Beach to the San Gabriel River Trail and down the SGRT back to our starting point. Distance of this ride is approx. 25.9 miles mostly flat with some minor ups. Good ride for intermediate beginners and up. There is some street riding; however most of the ride is on bike trails.
Have your bike ready to ride when you arrive at the starting location. Bring extra bike tube, water and helmet. Energy food recommended
We will start riding at 9:00 AM. Ready or not

What is the average speed and about how long will the ride be?

    January 25, 2013

    • Mike W.

There are several stretches where you can ride faster than the group, in fact, as long as you know where you're going you can ride at your own pace all the way!

Average ride speed 11-14 mph. Distance approximately 26 miles. About 2.5 hours total including rest stops.

If I go, it will only be partway and I turn back.

Per AccuWeather (as of 9 AM Fri), tomorrow should be cloudy all morning, but no rain. Temps from 58-63 degrees, winds 3-5 mph. IF that holds up and there is no water falling from the skies, on we go!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
