Thanks for planning this one, Matt. It was nice to see the Great Park and the big balloon. Maybe we can plan a bike ride with a balloon ride up. $10 for 10 min anyone? It was a little warm near the end of the ride. Otherwise, we could have gone another 16 miles -- maybe next time? It was a nice day with some really great people! Thanks everyone for a great day!

We had 12 cheerful cyclists willing to bear the ever changing scenery in Irvine during this ride. The ride went well despite the warmer weather and plenty of sun towards the end. OC Great Park normally has some activity over the weekend including farmers market, antique shows and the like.
    Lovely pictures

Great little ride through Irvine. Got to see the Great Park from the inside -- might have to ride to the balloon again and take a voyage! Another new view through Woodbury after our Starbucks stop. Thanks for planning this one Matt.

I'm looking for a good work out! Is this the right place?

    • Matt E.

Yes RG this is the place. Our average speed is around 12 mph, however our fast members reach 17-20 mph and are ahead of the pack.

Nice route... Would anyone like to extend the ride and add the Back Bay?

    July 11, 2013

    • Matt E.

Why not, we can add another 16 miles by riding around the back bay

Not everyone might want to add the extra miles, but it would be nice if someone would like to join me. I don't want to do it alone.
