Mid-Week Back Bay Ride

Let's go for a bike ride around the Back Bay on Wed evening!

This 10-mile ride circles the beautiful Upper Newport Back Bay. We will start out from the parking lot of the Muth Interpretive Center, and ride around the bay.  The route circles around the beautiful Back Bay on a paved bike trail, with a few blocks on the streets through a residential neighborhood.  There will be a couple of short, moderate climbs requiring your lower gears.

This ride generally takes about an hour.  Have a light jacket as there is often a breeze in the late afternoon.  And as always, bring water, your helmet, and a spare inner tube.

Post ride dinner to be decided by those who ride!  Check out the area (via google maps) and see what's nearby that strikes your fancy!   When it starts getting darker earlier we'll move the start time back in half hour increments.

Not a problem at all so long as you're going clockwise from the Muth Center! Anna's home but still undecided.....

FYI -- The trail along the sidewalk is closed from Jamboree to the SDCT bridge for construction. Bicycles are detoured onto Jamboree, but there are cones to make a lane. Suggest riding clockwise, if you go counter you'll need to cross Jamboree at Eastbluff and go down Jamboree to Bay Vies to cross at the signal and get back on the bike trail.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
