Members of the local bluegrass community of W. Washington are coming together to perform a benefit concert at Nectar Lounge in Fremont on April 23rd (1 month, 1 day after the mudslide at Oso). All proceeds go to the victims and communities of Oso and Darrington.
From Diana Morgan - director of The Darrington Bluegrass Festival:
The North County Family Services Relief Fund is the best place to send money for the victims of the mud slide. That money will go directly to the ones who need it.
I looks like you have the address and everything you need. We appreciate you all so much for this kind gesture. I am speaking for our town and all those directly effected by the mud slide. We have found that there are so many loving and caring people out there.
Also, from Kristy-lee Nahley with North Counties Family Services.
I am trying to let people who are holding benefits know that we are still welcoming money donations to our account North Counties Family Services Relief Fund at Coastal Bank. We are also a license 501(c)3, the only one in Darrington and we have been working very hard since the day of the slide to help everyone in the community. However our information is not as widely known because we are such a small organization. We have been working in Darrington for 20 years now and plan on working here for many more. If you would like more information on how to donate to us, you can call me at [masked] or mail us at North Counties Family Service Relief Fund P.O Box 1103 Darrington Washington 98241. Thank you so much for all you are doing to help support!

All proceeds go directly to the families and victims, it's not a big corporate conglomerate that sucks out a big chunk to feed their employees.
