Happy Hour Bike Ride Along SF Bay Trail followed by Chevy's (Emeryville)

OK, I'm finally posting this fun ride since it's been sitting around for a while!  I've reserved a party area.

Friday Happy Hour bike ride along the SF Bay Trail

Time: 6:30 PM Ride followed by Happy Hour (you don't expect to do it in reverse, do you?!)

(Happy Hour prices all night long)

Distance: 14 miles-social pace (we can shorten the ride depending on the group's preference)

Meet: at Emeryville Chevy's entrance and we'll do a round trip to the Albany Bulb with a loop at Caesar Chavez Park, followed by libations and food.

There is a parking lot in front as well as extra parking just to the left of the restaurant.

Closest public transportation is MacArthur BART and EmeryGoRound Shuttle with bike racks.

Info: http://www.emerygoround.com/riders-guide

Samples:

Drink:
$3.99 house margaritas

Food:
$13.99 fresh mex samplers; $7.99 border wings, fresh guacamole; $6.99 fajita nachos, crispy chicken flautas; $6.29 carnitas, slider trio

Happy Hour Info: We will be having between 20-30 people on this ride.  If you are joining us for Happy Hour at Chevy's in the private party area afterwards, please BRING CASH to cover your food, tax and tip in SMALL BILLS.  They will only accept one payment and I will put the tab on my credit card and collect cash for reimbursement at the time of your ordernot at the time of the bill since it's too hard to figure out whose food and drink is whose. Thanks.

Also, they have a private patio to put your bikes, but I would bring a lock just in case you find a creative spot to lock it up.  Or if you want to lock your bike wheel to frame.  I am storing mine in my car.

    Hi everyone,

Please take a moment and update your RSVP to "No" if unable to attend tomorrow's SF Bay Trail bike ride and Chevys happy hour. The restaurant needs an approximate headcount to set up.

Thanks and hope to see you there---OLE'

Does anyone know what is going on with Bart rush hour? If we can bring our bikes to the East Bay from SF, we'll be there!

According to the BART bike policy web page, you could exit at MacArthur BART which is the closest to the start. http://www.bart.gov/g...
