I keep riding, but have not ridden enough miles.
Need to make verbal and hand signals automatic when riding in a group, and I still need increase my ability to rider faster on inclines. * * * A few Road Bikes and one fat tire bicycle (Hybrid)... -- No, I do not have enough bicycle gear No, photo yet... Liability form - Yes,
Eastern and Tropicana in Las Vegas - Paradise Park Las Vegas - McDonald Tropicana & Mojave I have been riding 5 - 6 times a week on both a 11 & a 15 mile route in my neighborhood. Leaving as near to sunrise as possible and continue with a second ride @ 7:30... I ride for enjoyment & increased stamina. I find it good to enjoy my bicycle exercise instead of sitting in front of a computer 15 hours a day, trying to undo all the Microsoft operating system infections in computers.
Tuesdays is my best day for a longer ride, but believe that is an odd day for most other riders... Very early rides of an hour or two are best, without making major changes in my schedule. I have been learning to maintain my bicycles, but I certainly have a great deal more to learn... I have a desire to learn to build, & repair wheels as a educated hobbyist, this is one my goals for 2013...
I have been riding three years jan 2013, I try to ride daily when the wind is not blowing the pollen about. I am starting again and will averaged 400 miles a month for 2013. I hope to increase the mileage as the weather warms up. I ride mainly on the streets, I have only a few bike paths in the vicinity.
Yes, I am a slow rider that know knows a few things about riding in a group, but my verbal & hand signals need to become automatic.
It is a good venue to find an organised ride to learn an area trail I did not know. Thought there might be more participants in the beginning ride I participated in last Sunday, presume other members are more experienced...
Although I live out in Boulder City, I wouldn't mind meeting up with you and doing some "training" for rides in the area and for th STP.
